Updated Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 11:12 PM NC Knights Social Justice Committee The NC Knights of Columbus will support issues in the Social Justice arena and especially those on the website of the Catholic Bishops ( www.catholicvoicenc.org ). We will promote Knights and other Catholics to register with the Bishops site so that they become aware of Issues and get ALERTS from the bishops when they would like us to act. More issues will be added as they come along. We encourage people to contact their friends, family, representatives, media and fellow parishioners to support these issues from the side of their faith and their sheppards. It would also help to encourage the pastor to support these issues in the parish since the bishops are also urging the Knights to be involved! The Social Justice Committee is looking for volunteers to champion each issue. If you would like to be the leader or just a member of group for one of the following issues please respond via the comment below. All communications can be accomplished online and the groups could meet at the state meetings. If there are other issues please just send them in via the comment e-mail.
